My bike nutrition...




And I ate all those bananas except one -- for a 3:18 ride. My jersey pockets were gross -- covered in brown banana slime from me cramming the peels back in my pockets.


For those who don't know me....I really do eat that many bananas. :) :) :)

I LOVE BANANAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I count 6. At 100 calories each, aren't you running a bit light for nutrition over a 3 hr ride? Or is there other stuff being snarffed that you aren't telling us about? Plus, I throw the banana peel away. Totally biodegradable, after all, and gives the tiny critters in the ditch something to eat.

I had filled up on a lot of food before hand, so 5 bananas were good. If I were to throw the peels away, there would be a big pile of them growing at various spots due to the lack of rides around here -- LOL!!!

For some reason I can't see the picture, but from Keith's comment it sounds like you ate 5-6 bananas?! That's good, at least it is 'real' food! It's easy to get sick of the gels and powdered electrolyte mix!
